After its International Premiere in Shanghai, Sanctuary received two awards at Golden Apricot - Yerevan International Film Festival in Armenia and Giffoni Film Festival in Italy.

This year for the first time Golden Apricot Film Festival gave a new Audience Award, which went to Marc Brummund for his film Sanctuary. The film was presented in the International Feature Competition and it is the second Audience Award for the film.
Giffoni Film Festival is a film festivals for young audiences and 3600 Giffoni Film Festival jurors selected the winners. Sanctuary was presented in in the section Generation +13 and has received the Best Film Award.
Marc Brummund accompanied his debut film to both film festivals and met there enthusiastic audiences, who loved the film. Congratulations!
