VAMOS A LA PLAYA was shot in Cuba and "is about key moments of growing up and deals with their contradictions and also painful experiences." says the director Bettina Blümner. "The film asks questions and does not provide clear answers. It shows seduction in an apparent paradise - staged with humour, improvisation and passion."
