Pluto Film handles international rights for Veit Helmers new feature film project THE BRA (working title).

Veit Helmer's (ABSURDISTAN, TUVALU, BAIKONUR) new feature film THE BRA (Working title) is currently in preproduction and is expected for delivery in 2018. THE BRA (Working title) will be entirely shot on location in Aserbaidschan. THE BRA will be a subtle comedy using no dialogue. As he did for his last films, Veit Helmer is going to produce and direct THE BRA. For Germany, Neue Visionen has acquired all rights and is planning a theatrical release following up the film's international festival premiere.

THE BRA (Working title) tells the story of the lonely and soon to be pensioned train driver Nurlan. On his last day of work his train hits a clothes line and snags a white bra with blue dots with it. Determined to find the owner, Nurlan leaves no stone unturned and embarks on a dazzling journey through the neighbourhoods of Baku, trying to convince as many women as possible to try on the lost bra.

Veit Helmer is a film director from Germany. He shot his first film at the age of 14. His films TUVALU, ABSURDISTAN and BAIKONUR have been invited to major festivals, among them Cannes, Berlin, Venice and Sundance and received alltogether 180 awards.
