Pluto's films are crossing the ocean to participate in the 41st São Paulo International Film Festival in Brazil!

The honorary invitees are the latest George Ovashvili’s feature KHIBULA (Khibula, 2017) with the participation of the director and Jan Speckenbach‘s FREEDOM (Freiheit, 2017). FREEDOM is also selected for New Filmmakers Competition.

For KHIBULA's director George Ovashvili São Paulo International Film Festival is the second stop in Latin America. Just before the Brazilian festival the director attended Al Este del Plata Film Festival in Argentina where KHIBULA was participating in Official Competition and Ovashvili shared a glimse to his talent in a Master Class he held.

The last days of Georgian president following drama KHIBULA premiered at the Official Competition of this year’s Karlovy Vary film festival. Speckenbach‘s FREEDOM started it’s festival tour at Concorso Internazionale of Locarno International Film Festival followed by CPH PIX in Denmark, HAIFA IFF in Israel, Warsaw Film Festival and Official Competition of Spain’s Valladolid International Film Festival.
